The Intelligent Interactive Distributed Systems group is headed by professor prof. dr. Frances Brazier. The group started January 1st, 2000. The group, originally part of the
Artificial Intelligence Group, recently became part of the Computer Systems Group at the VU.
Summary of the research of the IIDS group.
The IIDS group aims to support the development of flexible, adaptable architectures for intelligent interactive distributed systems. The research programme focuses on the design and development of the AgentScape middleware to support the design of large scale agent systems, including services such as an agent factory and agent directory services.
