Final term projects (Masters)

In the IIDS group students can work on a final term project. On this page, a list of open final term projects is provided and our expectations with regard to graduate students.

Open final term projects:

A final term project at IIDS involves:

  • design and documentation of a conceptual model.
  • documentation of literature research.
  • design and documentation of a prototype to demonstrate 'proof of concept'.
  • documents and source code are all "Open Source", i.e. available to the general public.
  • frequent meetings (once a week).
  • presentations at the 'IIDS meetings' and a webpage on the final term project.

The final term projects will be supervised by a staff member of the IIDS group on a daily basis and by Frances Brazier on a bi-weekly basis. Graduate students are also invited to suggest new related topics for final term projects. For more information regarding final term projects, please contact dr. Martijn Warnier, dr. Michel Oey, or prof.dr. Frances Brazier.
